I've found an '04 S2K that I'm interested in and it has a Pioneer Nav system with the screen mounted in the dash above and right of the stereo.

I don't mind the Nav system, but don't really need it and am thinking I'd buy the car and retrofit a new dash to it if the Nav gets on my nerves.

Anybody know how much that piece sells for? I can't call the dealer cuz their closed and want to negotiate price tonight with the seller.

Just out of curiosity (and a free bump!) where is the car located? I have a friend selling a car by that exact description right now...

Other than a swap, it will probably be expensive. Stupid console assembly is $450!

Not committed to changing it just wanted to estimate the price.

jwa4378 - I'll keep your info though in case I decide to swap it out. If the dash is really expensive then a straight swap might not be a bad deal.

brent_strong - The car also needs 4 tires, a spare wheel & tire and a ding removed. That should tell you if we're talking about the same car. PM me and I'll share details - don't want to create competition for myself to buy it!!

Another question I should already know - is the spare a full-size or temporary spare?

I might consider a swap + some $....but not too much, as I will have to swap back to sell. Where you located? If you do not like it, if we are not close, we could ROAD TRIP it! What system is it?

As far as new, go to www.hartopguy.com, best $ on OEM stuff....that is probably not on the website, but call them, they are good people and will give you the best $.

Spare is a micro. Looks like a motorcycle front tyre.

 

It lists for 535.86 iNet Price 401.89.

 

Damn...the WHOLE dash is cheaper than the center console! That is F*CKED up!
