Default how much did you pay...

Im trying to shop around but it seems like people are out of their minds! I got quoted as much as $2500 for a 4 piece kit. WTF! anyway, Just curious as to what you guys paid wether it be the full kit, front bumper only, sides only or whatever combonation you did.

well all depends on what you are asking the shop to do.

I agree, that seems a little steep for just painting - I would assume around $200-250 a part

If you want the paint blended to the hood/fenders its going to cost more too.

but who's doing the test fitment, prep and installation?

the shop would do it all. fit, paint and install. I mean when I had my civic the shop charged me 450 to paint and install my front bumper and the fittment was such garbage so they spent a good amount of time on it. Your car is silverstone...wanna sell your kit? lol

If the shop is doing all that I can see the quote they gave you especially if they are going to blend the paint into the hood, fenders, etc.

test fit/modify/prep/paint (with blend)/install - $2k isnt overly explensive for all that

If the kit has serious fitment issues then I can understand the price, I've seen kits that don't fit for sh#t no matter how hard you try.
I was quoted 500.00 to prep/paint my rear bumper/rear fender flares, fitment is great and I'm good at installing my own kit. Labor charges total exactly the same amount (which will total 1000.00) if I had them install it, saves you $$$ if you know how to diy.
