Default How much did you pay to replace your worn clutch ??

Hello

Can anyone tell me how much you paid to have honda replace your worn clutch with a OEM clutch ?? Including labor and parts ?

about $1400 for clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and labor at a honda dealership (labor was about $680, and the rest was parts from majestic hondas website)

on a side note, the dealership i bought the car from wanted an outrageous $1500 in labor alone....needless to say, i nolonger take my car there for service, unless its warranty work!

Most rate it as an 8 hour job to 12 hour job. Labor rates will run from about $50 to $80 so $400 to $960 plus you may be hit with shop supply charges and some fastener replacement on top of the major parts.

Yeah, I did the same thing at 16 when I regularly toasted the clutch in my Hemi Road Runner.

Rick Case Honda is quoting me $600 for the labor, which will take a full day. I'll let you know what I actually end up spending when I take the car in for the job on Thurs.

too bad you guys are not in vancouver, AJ-racing charged me $300 for my celica before for changing the clutch and flywheel

All repairs on not the same.. if they charged $300 CND for this one they would show a big loss everytime. With a great shop, tools, and a fast mechanic that has done them before I still don't think it can be done properly in less than four or five hours. The ones I have done at home (no lift, air tools, and limited working space) take a couple of days.
