Fronts - +22mm to - 65mm
Rears - +23mm to -49mm

In Inches that would be

Fronts - +.9" to -2.5"
Rears - +.9" to -1.9"

You can adjust anywhere between there

Too much. I have TEIN RS Coilovers and the factory settings are way too low for daily driving. The good thing is that you have TONS of flexibility. After bottoming out on every bump in Dallas, I raised my S up about half way between TEIN factory and stock.

Regards,

Al

Yes, you can. Depends how you like to drive. Lowering the S too much actually ruins handling, i set up my other friends s2k dropping it only .75 inches and may have to raise it some more when it settles. I didnt like the way it felt at alll with the factory settings and i am in NYC, pot holes are huge here, you dont want to lower too much anyway. The spring rates for the rear are a little harder than i'd like, but the rear lifts less now when you go over small hills. It's an alright setup i guess, i have had other cars with flex's and they handled and ride better.

I would get the tein flex mono, i believe they have 10k springs front and back, compared to the regular flex 10k and 12k in back. But twin tube dampers are much more ride compliant than mono tubes. Mono's are better for consistency which is important.

Depends what you like, the tail of the s was a little more livelier than factory MY03 suspension, but much more controlled (his factory suspension was 50k miles old). I am going to get the mono's instead. Anyone have experience with them? They're on special order and i need to wait about 2 months to get it.

It's pretty damn adjustable. You can have the front bumper touching the asphalt if you'd like.

The most important part about the coilovers is that it has a separate damper length and spring pre-load adjustments, which gives the coilovers the travel that it's missing when you drop the car and dont use shortened struts. Travel is the most important thing for a street car, that's daily driven as it is directly related to ride quality. The s2k has short travel in the rear while the front is still ok.

Buying a coilover without this adjustment is hit or miss, you might like how the company made the travel or you may not. I like setting this setting myself.

On my supra (jza70 - 1jz), i had super sports which didnt have this adjustment, it rode ok, but the hks and flex had the adjustment and ride quality was much better.

On the g20(p11) on the other hand i had super sports and it rode perfectly. No setting required.
