Default How much do you guys pay for insurance????

I want to know how much s2000 owners pay for their insurance??? I'm probably going to get a used black s2000 this summer. How much would mine be if my record is clean and I had my license for a little bit over two years?? Thanks

There are too many factors for you to assume that what anyone pays will be the same as yours. Since you have only had your lic. for 2 yrs. and if this is your only car to drive then it will be high. I have a beater so my ins. on mine is not too bad since it is considered a limited use (<7500 miles) pleasure vehicle.

Your best bet is to call your ins. broker.

I used to pay $1750/6months but it just dropped to $1285 because I bought a beater car, food for thought.

You can also go for a higher excess to keep the premium down, possibly install a Tracker device.

I will be doing both of these and keeping the Fiesta as a "beater" car. Its worth it - just one knock from a supermarket trolley and you'll be glad you got one.

I pay $1018 for 6 months for my S2k and my 93 Toyota 4x4 pickup truck. The truck doesnt have full coverage. I am 25 with no tickets or wrecks. Mine went up $36 every 6 months from trading my ex 3000GT in on the S2k.

I currently pay $3501.00 per year with full coverage and $250.00 deductible. My record is kind of spotty but I will turn 25 this summer and I will instantly be responsible. The insurance co. will drop my cost to $1531.00 per year. Just think in ten more years I could run for president.

Ouch!

Well I'm 35 with clear record for 6 years and I own a house. I have a 98 Cavalier Z24 for
a daily driver. I pay $380 for 6 months.

... around $550 a year ... own a house, four other cars, and a boat - all insured with the same company (USAA).

Oh crap, I'm 40...

Mine just went up right after my divorce....from $ 60/month to $ 82/month....what a crock....I still have 2 cars/1 bike/home insurance through them....oh well, it is still not too bad. I am 27 and 1 ticket...that's all!
