Thumbs up How much do you pay for S2K insurance?

I just got a 2002 S2K and my insurance in San Diego county for 6 months is $970!!! WOW.... $1,000 collision deductiable, $100 comprehensive. Allstate insurance.

I'm 25 yrs old, no tickets, no accidents, good driver discount, etc. I was kinda shocked it was still so high.

One question I have is that the insurance rep said don't bother with an alarm or Lo Jack. If someone steals my seats or slashes my top, I'll just have to pay $100 deductiable and insurance fixes it. Is that true? Kinda hard to believe.
