Does anyone know how much a new key & remote for the S2000 cost?
I guess you'd have to get them at the dealer?

I've misplaced my extra set & need to get replacements before I lock my only set in the car.

the key is 35bux from the dealer...not sure about the alarm

 

The key is about $30 but the dealer may charge you about $70 to reprogram the car. The S2K uses a smart key. The dealer must connect a tester, clear our all the key settings and reprogram ALL YOUR KEYS. Bring them all with you. One dealer wanted to charge me to reprogram but I got another dealer to do it for free. I advise shopping around before giving our money to a dealer.

That stinks that some dealers will charge $70 to reprogram the keys...but then again, I guess not too surprising based on how greedy many of the dealers are.

the remote is very expensive ($160 I seem to remember). I got one on ebay for $30. probably yours
