Do speeding tickets really affect how much you pay for your insurance in the US? I have had 7 in the last 5 years (2 this year!)...

It doesn't seem to matter over here in Oz as long as you don't lose your license!

My gf pays $2500-3000 CDN ($2000 US) for the S2. She's 23, 7 years experience with perfect record. Women drivers get breaks?

I'm 26, have a clean record thanks to traffic school. I pay $615 for 6 mos. for a '00 s2000 and a '95 civic where I'm the only driver of both.

I'm 30, my s2k is my 'weekend driver' (secondary car), $600/yr with FULL coverage... not bad IMHO

It depends on what the coverage is! My coverage is 300000/500000 with a $500 deductale. If I drop the coverage to the min. at 100000/300000 my insurance would be lower. Clean record.

At the present rate I pay about $2400/yr, this includes the following cars:

2001 S2000 - break down is about $1150/yr
2001 Tahoe - break down is about $850/yr (Chevy has more safety features on it)
1989 Toyota 4X4 - break down is about $400/yr

Just my 2 cents
