So the the Preliminary repair estimate to be at $10500 without the aftermarket Volk Racing Wheel (1 is significantly bent). Adjuster is not sure the value of the car at this moment and not sure if they are totaling it, although I wish they do. Is it possible to convince the insurance to total the car? It does have some frame damages and both air bags were deployed.
Both air bags off typically means a total on cars of this value. Insurance companies don't like replacing air bags. Scares the crap out of me if I get a light t-bone and my side impacts go off.

Is that the quote the insurance adjuster came up with, or is it from the shop you decided to take it to? I'm asking because insurance adjusters will almost always lowball you when it comes to the repair amount. My insurance adjuster quoted me $6,500, where as the shop quoted $11,300 after the tear down.
