Default How much is this S2000 worth?

I have decided to go back to school and finish school this fall. I plan on attending a university in Ohio so I will need a car that is more suitable for Ohio winters.

I need to get an idea of what would be a good price to sell my S2000 for. I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

Year: 2004 AP2
Car has about 53,500 miles on it. (KBB sets the value at something like 19k)
Exterior Color is Silverstone
Interior Color is Black leather
Mechanically sound
Cosmetically
- There are a couple of tears in the soft top that have been sown and are water tight
- As you can see in the picture the wheels/rims have been painted metallic blue. I plan on removing the paint and getting back to the original color for the sale
- The car has a few dents, but I am taking it to a paintless dent repair guy who said he can take everything out of the car for between 200-300 and touch up the paint in a couple places where it might need it.
- The lip of the front bumper is scratched up from the previous owner having the car lowered and scraping it. I have returned it to the OEM springs. (selling the tein s-tech springs separately)
- there is a centimeter long tear on the passenger side door leather

Upgrades:
- LED Break lights and rear turning signals
- DC Sport Header
- K&N Air Filter

So if I get the rims color changed back to OEM and get the dents taken out and paint touched up professionally what do you think I can get for it? Also what would be holding back it's value(like what else can I do to make it more worth it)? Thanks so much guys!

That car looks like it been through some really tough times ...imo Id get 04 oem wheels and call it a day ...anyone will see right through that cars history . Good luck selling it ...don't even think of trying to sell it how it looks now ...you'd be lucky to get anything over ten thousand looking like that imo .

It looks like it will cost me around $600 to buy AP2 wheels. I do not understand why it has AP1 wheels on it although I have seen a number of 2004 S2000s with AP1 wheels and a number of them with AP2 wheels. I am guessing that Honda started the switch part of the way through the year?

I appreciate that.

Are you justing talking about the dents and the few scratches or is there something I am missing?

This is why: Some people buy aftermarket wheels and sell their stock wheels. When it comes time to sell the car they get the AP1 wheels since they are cheaper and sell their wheels.

So Anyone able to give me a ballpark figure on what I can get for it after I "clean it up"? I was hoping to get around $15,500 after the dents removed, paint touched up, and rims back to oem color.

I'd put it back to 100% stock. The DC header is a piece of crap. Replace that with a stock header, buy some AP2 wheels with nice tires, get dents removed etc. Then put it up for sale and see where it stands.
