Default How much is a used S2000 motor worth?

Okay, I've been looking around for a shortblock or longblock to rebuild for FI in the near
future for my car and keep my original motor as a spare. I've been shopping around
and the best I can find is

$3000 complete engine with tranny. (USDM motor)
$2000 complete longblock. (JDM motor)

What do you guys think of the price? How much do S2000 motors worth
these days?

Are there any difference between a JDM and a USDM F20C???

Any commets appreciated.

I think they sound like pretty good prices.

The JDM motor has different pistons resulting in a slightly higher compression ratio.

Those look like great prices! a jdm b18c5 (type R motor) with tranny costs like 5k!

That's a great price on the complete engine. I bought a set of seats and door panels out of a car that was rolled with 17 miles on it and they wanted $6500 just for the motor.

I have a short block and cylinder head if you're intrested . #3 cylinder needs partial work , but perfect candidate for rebuilding .
