Hmm...OK, thanks.

Here's whatsup:

In may of 08, I bought a VW GLI. I told myself I'd keep it stock through the winter, then start to mod it.

I kept it stock, with the exception of installing an Pioneer Nav. Now, as winter is ending, I'm finding myself really bored with the GLI. I've got $5000 saved I can drop into it, but I'm thinking that might not be the right decision.

From a practicality standpoint, there's really no reason I need a 4 passenger sedan. So, I've been looking to trade it for an s2000.

Then I found this car going for auction on Monday. I'm thinking I can get this in addition to my GLI, and fix it up as I earn the cash. That way I don't take a massive hit on the GLI, and I still get a sportier car.

I'm torn. What would you do?

Something to add:
If the s2000 was my second car and a salvage car, I truly wouldn't mind bringing it to the track too, which I find very appealing.

Sounds good. Spend $8,000: get a salvage title car that's already been repaired. You're easily taking $1,000 per repair item on this car.
