How often do female S2000 owners VTEC?
Guys tend to VTEC much earlier than the girls from what I hear.
When the girls let you drive, you should make a special effort to sustain your VTEC for a longer duration so they won't be disappointed. This means you shouldn't upshift too fast.

Better explain VTEC!!!!!
Right after I bought "Electra" my wife took her to show her mom. I get a panic call on cell phone answering machine as they are in the lot of my mother in laws real estate office with mother in law in poassenger seat, and all crowded around. Wife can't get car started. Second call, wife exhibits great relief as she has found the owners manual as well as the Start Button. Saved these two calls for quite awhile for entertainment value
. Wife, after bad experience goes 6 months without another drive (her choice). Need to epoxy garage floor....have wife pull out car.....force her to "take "Electra" out. I made it clear to hit VTEC and really feel what the car could do. I indicated this would happen a little over 6K. Wife leaves. Wife gone like 3 hours, comes home. I jokingly say hey! where the hell you been as I peel 3 dragonflys of the fornt bumper. Wife bursts into tears and exits. Check car....car OK. Check wife. She indicates she has gotten a ticket! I ask how fast...she says 99 MPH. I ask were you doing that ( somewhat stunned--wife=conservative)?. She says actually she was at 140MPH in 6th and had almost achieved VTEC when the officer passed in the other direction so she began slowing (SR-1 full alert she knew she was cooked). Officer explained it took 14 miles to reverse and catch up! Gotta love Uta ticket was $80 bucks.
As for the question does she VTEC? Not yet..... but as a race director of the Silverstate Classic Challenge I think she'll do in September....in 6th gear

P.S. Guess I forgot to tell her VTEC works in all gears?

I would say I don't Vtec too often... Normally (like this morning) when some idiots going 30 MPH's to get on the expressway... that pisses me off so once they've changed lanes... I Vtec and pass them and get 'in front of them. (In FL our on ramps are pretty long in comparison to other states) But other than that.. the most I would say 1 to 2x's a day... Sometimes you need to just hear that ROAR of the engine...
