Suprisingly I rarely VTEC. I did it today in 1st gear just for fun but I do it maybe once a week? I'm just paranoid about keeping her in perfect mechanical condition...Sometimes I'll go crazy and do it several times but rarely Baby her way to much!! BTW I don't race, legal or illegal.

I think we're about polar opposites. There MIGHT be one day a week that I don't VTEC.....if I take the wife's PT Cruiser. Seriously though, in the warmer months the days that I don't VTEC are few and far between (1 day every 2-3 weeks). When it's cold, the car usually doesn't get warmed up before I make it to work so I might VTEC a couple of times a week.

 

Everytime I can.......drive it like you stole it(within reason and safety of others of course)

 

I always VTEC... in the S or in the TSX (with proper engine temp). It is what it was designed to do... otherwise it is kind of like have NOS for the 'cool bottle look'.

 

lol or those NOS Subwoofers that come in the NOS bottle at Circuit city.

 

Once every other day....

 

vtec at least once a day, only when the engine is fully warmed up of course.

 

So what gear do you guys Vtec the most in? 1st? If so how many "Vtecs" do you string together?

I vtec everytime i drive the car.

 

I do it a couple times a week..... sometimes not too often, but if i go a couple of days w/out doing it, i really get the feeling like i have too much energy and need to go for a quick run! So I VTEC and I like it better in 2nd gear it seems louder
