Warmer weather definitely multiple times a day. Now that it's colder out not so much. Once every few days now probably.

Pretty much every time I get on the freeway to get home. It makes you feel better after a long day at work.

I've had my baby for 5 years now. Someone a long time ago dared me to drive a full tank of gas without hitting VTEC once. I couldn't do it.

It wasn't until I drove cross country that I was able to go a tank full without VTECing it. And even then, it was one or two tankfuls out of the umpteen million I ran through her. I'm addicted to it...

When I owned my first s2000 an ap1 I would vtec everyday. Vtecing
with my Ap1 wasn't as noticeable as my GSR but you could still hear the
difference. My AP2 is fun to drive but the Vtecing is different. The hearing
part of it is not really loud or maybe my hearing is off,I'm older now.

I still feel the pull when I enter 6000+ rpm but the sound is almost muted to me.
I've noticed through the years that i don't race at stop lights anymore.
The s2000 vtec AP2 is still a loud car and puling away fast is a little obnoxious to me. With a torky car you just pull away with little sound.

That said, the s2000 is a very special car.I don't feel an explanation is needed. This is a raw car, every part on your s2000 is not from any other Honda. It's was built from the ground up. There could be a tire cap or something else but in general iit's' unique.

Yup, cold dense air is very bad for the engine.

Some of the responses in this thread are alarming, and sad.
