Also note that this sampling is biased towards people who have time to hang out on forums online.... hence the abundance of 20yo's.
If you ask your question again and add "Did you buy your car new or used?" I'll bet that most of the younger folk bought theirs used.

When I first joined S2ki and this question was asked, there were very few people under 20 that owned an S2000, now there's quit a few of you
