i'm 19 and i put my own down payment which was 8000 that i got from selling my crx and my sentra that i both bought and i now pay for my car payments and insurance. cars in my parents name tho lol

I'm 19, pay for insurrance, repairs, gas, My mom bought it for me right now, I pay it off after I'm out of college, and I also pay for my own college also.

thats good ya'll bought it yourself..

I know 2 peoplel with S's that mommy and daddy bought. One is on his 4th engine rebuild, and the other.... totalled.

I figure if they would have payed their own money for the car, they would be more responsible with it.

I financed myself, and i pay my own payments. I kinda screwed myself on it though, cause I bought a house 2 months before i bought the car.. my interest rate is like 7.5%

17, yes my parents pay for it, not the s2k or the wrx have ever been wrecked at all or totalled, not a scratch.

There was a poll on this about a year ago. The distribution was bimodal, with a larger hump in the low twenties and a smaller one in the late forties.
