Well, Honda cars have never been associated with communicative steering feel. Not even the NSX's.

i last nsx i drove had way more feedback than my eps s2000, of course it's not a manual rack miata or 911 but compare to the S, there's significantly more.

i believe the eps in the next generation sport car will factors in tactile communication to the road, it jsut a matter of time they will do so.(split from the main stream, comfy, isolated lexus like e steering)

So, the NSX had either a manual rack, (91-94 manual transmission and 99 zanardi) or an EPS system similar to the S2000, (all years automatic, 95-02 manual, except Zanardi)

Just curious of those of you that complain about the numb steering what are you comparing it to? I guess I'm in the minority but my s2k has been by far the most responsive car I've ever driven. Now I've never driven vettes or anything like that so maybe I just don't know?

Vettes are more numb, IMHO.

Elise, Cayman / Boxster, even manual Miata rack are my favorites.

And it's not the responsiveness... the S2000 steering is like a laser. But the feedback is what we're talking about.
