How to prevent s2k theft
The autolock works on the clutch and the brake...but I've been trying to figure out which one i want to put it on. The car can be electronically started without the clutch, and can be power shifted...so by putting it on the brake, it makes it a hell of a lot harder to stop, unless you downshift and kill the tranny..either way, there're always ways around it...that is unless you get two autolocks...hehe..

The idea with deterrents is to buy valuable time, so much that the thief may think the gains of stealing won't be worth the trouble. Check out UK's Autolok website - they have a lot of good stuff including the steering wheel plate lock, shifter lock, and the wheel boot/clamp. Autolock is great as well - I recommend 3 of them - one for each pedal. Get a custom siren that blares out something original and something that really catches attention like "STOP STEALING ME, STOP STEALING ME" instead of the standard alarm cycle. Two sets of wheel locks, razor blades in strategic places (behind fenders, bumpers, steering column, etc), a whole lot of chains (I use 30 when I park in shady places - yea I know I'm nuts) to wrap around stationary objects (i.e. light poles, concrete supports) to different areas of the car, car locator like LoJack - especially useful if you can check on your car every so often and so IFF it gets stolen, you can report it right away, cut the steering wheel all the way, then lock the wheel, park in gear with ebrake all the way up before locking them, nails to lean against the tires (8 of them - 2 on each tire, 1 leaning on each side of the tire so it covers both front and rear movement of vehicle) so IFF the thief drives away, he won't get very far, etc. There are some things I'm leaving out but just a few to get you started.
This doesn't guarantee anything just like nothing in life is guaranteed BUT, it will dramatically reduce the chances and it will make you confident enough that you will actually feel that the thief deserves the car if he can get passed all that.
You guys are pretty lucky - I own one of the top five most stolen cars in the country.
