rare - in san diego, i have owned my s2000 for about 7 weeks. in that time i have seen 3 s2000 on the road, one on a test drive by a honda dealer, and one in a parking lot. is that rare or well done?

also, i wouldn't say choosing the corvette was wrong... but the number of years. the original statistice provided were for corvette sales from 97-03. through what month in 03 we do not know. domestic or worldwide sales we do not know.

the s2000 started producting in fall 99 for the MY00. so you have a current production run of 4 years and 4 months, while the corvette statistice were for almost 7 full years of production...

if someone wants to get a calculator and figure out the number of sales per month, but we would need to confirm that both numbers are for domestic USA sales only. just my opinion.

I'd call the S2000 "well done."

I wouldn't call it rare or even medium rare.

I see another S2000 once every two weeks, on average.

I still get excited and wave, honk my horn, etc.. Usually the other S2000 driver does so as well. It reminds me of many years ago when motorcycle riders would always give each other a 'thumbs up'.

I do not, however, see many S2000's like mine, i.e., red with a plastic rear window.

when i first bought my s2000 i thought it would not be a daily driver... as it turns out it's becoming harder and harder to drive the prelude or the saab.

how can someone relegate their s2000 to "garage queen" status?

we can't enjoy seeing each other on the road

to each his/her own... enjoy the drive

It just is my opinion, but S2000s are as rare as 911 Carerra on the road.
