Default How to replace broken glovebox lock?

OK, so I might've been stupid enough to leave my car unlocked. Of course the first time I do this, some bastard gets into my car and proceeds to break the glovebox lock to gain access. Luckily, there wasn't anything at all worth stealing. But, the damage was done, the glovebox won't close and the lock is worthless. The only thing left is the key hole and some surrounding metal pieces. The tabs you squeeze to open the glovebox are gone as well as all the black plastic cover pieces. I'd love to keep the same lock, the lock looks ok. But where do I get the other parts besides the dealership?

Yeah, stupid me. Unless I locked it and it got slimjimed, but I think in my haste, I just forgot.

You should be able to buy just the lock:

You may have to go to some additional effort to get it keyed to your existing key.

Try Hardtop guy. He can usually get all the honda parts at a good price. Good service, too.
