#0216, 01' , 1,100 miles. No problems yet, just the weird noises the tranny makes. My passenger headlight fails to come on at start up every once in a while, I just turn it off and back on and it works fine. And if the car is cold and I let the clutch out immidately after starting it the car dies, so after restart I just wait a few seconds and let it out slowly and no problems.

I told my dealer in FL. about the 2nd gear grind in or around Feb. and as was to be expected they hadn't heard of it before but they called the tech line. The tech line said that they had heard of the problem but didn't know what to do about it yet. I also called AH and talked to them. My dealer was always VERY helpful and as my problem got worse they handled everything with Honda for me. Honda, not the dealer, was a little iffie on the clutch and wanted to blame the rear diff on abuse. After the dealer told them that they knew me and how I drove the car Honda agreed to replace the diff. The work was done in Nov. and took about two weeks because of miss shipped parts and having the work on the clutch and diff approved at different times while the car was apart.

Thanks to all who've responded. So far, there have only been 16 owners that checked in, so the sample size is a bit small for statistics. Interesting to see that the '01's are doing well, except for one engine replacement. As far as the '00's are going, no tranny complaints above the 3,000's.
