Are you melting in the summer? What about the non functional AC vent above the radio? Is that a big deal?
I live in TX and am a little concerned about the 100+ degree weather.

Im from Dallas so I should know how it feels. My A/C is weird, it gets cold then cool then cold then cool. I think I need to take it in for service but the heat is over now and its been feeling good outside. But overall you can make it through.

the vent above the radio IS functional....turn the vent knob to the position with the open roof on it...then air comes out of the side vents, center vent (under the radio) and by your feet!

Mine does the exact same thing, I would also describe it as weird. I think it is normal cycling of the compressor?

Overall I'd have to say the A/C works very well for having a black top in the AZ summer.

Mine is cold enough to numb my hands in rush hours traffic.

I'm from Houston and this baby does the trick.. As soon as you start driving you can feel the air getting colder! It's great... Don't worry about the A/C...

No problems with the AC keeping you cool. It does seem that as it cycles it gets cold....cool....cold etc.
