Default How will 2004 affect 00-03?

Will the 04's affect the cost of the older s2k's more or the same as every year when a new MY comes out?

I think that this is a contentious issue to be asked at this point. I suppose only the market will ultimately determine MY00-03 resale values once the "new" MY 04 is released. For many, such as myself, the "original" F20C will be the only car rightly designated as an S2000, and as such I would be more inclined to buy the original, classic S2000 at whatever price the market dictates. For others who have to have the newest, and arguably best product available, older S2000s will be liquidated at nonsensical values so that people can "trade up" if you will.

I would suggest that the depreciation of MY00-03 S2000s will continue as has been the norm for the last three years, but this depreciation will not be any greater or less with the arrival of the tweaked MY04s.

Hopefully it will make it easier for me to get. I like the S just the way it is. It was designed for one purpose and now it's being designed to be competitive with what else is out there, and that always means that the original idea of the car will be lost somewhere so 04 no thank you.
