Default Is that how you drive an S2000?

Hi. I was cruising on the parkway today when I heard a motorcycle approaching behind me. The engine was screaming. Only, it wasn't a motorcycle. It was a yellow S2000. The driver was bobbing and weaving through traffic like his S2000 was a Kawasaki sport bike.

The driver of the yellow S2000 didn't acknowledge me as I drove my S2000 like a Honda Civic. I wonder now if it would be more fun to drive his way. How do you drive yours?

Based on your description, it sounds as if they driver was driving irresponsibly.

It certainly is fun to drive this car spiritedly, and occasionally driving spiritedly on the street, but common sense needs to be used.

For high speed and driving near the limit, take it to the track.

I drive like an old dude with occasional unexplainable moments that leave fellow drivers with open mouths - I think. I never look back

Sometimes I drive like a granny and sometimes it just hits me and.....well the redline gets abused

In my case the better my mood the faster and harder I drive.

If I'm tired or had a bad day I'll drive real slow and never hit VTEC.

I hardly ever hit VTEC. Sometimes I do it just to make sure it still works.

On the flip side of the coin I like to corner at very high speeds.

Being safe and responsible is job #1. That said, I never pass up an opportunity to slide the back end around a corner and make an unsuspecting passenger start grabbing for handles.

That's how I'd drive mine.

Hehe I know it's not always the smartest way to drive, but how can you resist?

I generally take it to 5k and shift..i use turn signals and check b4 lane changes. every now and then i kick out of "grandpa mode" and take it to 9k.
I was on the highway today doing 55mph when a b/f and g/f drove past me on my left. She looked at me and smiled...then he got mad and showed me his carolla or whatever it was, was faster. So i dropped a gear to catch up and smile back then watched his car get smaller in my mirrors.

after that i went back to 55mph and relaxed

its a perfect cruising car
