What is the best way to gain HP without getting a supercharger? I know a lot of stook owners by the N&A Filters but I know several people have installed those and seen no HP gain.

Let me reword the question. What can I get for less than 1000 dollars to boost horsepower?

Thanks

Ugh.

Stay away!

With only a grand there isn't too much you can do. I'd get the Mugen headers as that seems to be one mod that actually makes a difference at the moment.

Yep. Headers!! I hear Rick's center console is good for about 1 HP if you really need it.

Maybe there are some cost effective ways to reduce the weight of the car to increase the power to weight ratio.

well.. u can get 50-100 out of nitrous but tht's too dangerous for the engine.. u can get power from camshafts, header, intake.. i suggest wait for the toda camshafts.. they make well over 25whp for a B series engine....

get the nos... as long as you install 2-3 safeties and upgrade the ignition, you'll be able to run a 60 shot with no damage whatsoever.

Head work
only way I have found to make NA power increases, I will post dynos as soon as I can make it to sea level to get some good runs, as opposed to +6000 feet. Big difference!!!
