HRE's a quite pricey, and are becoming more and common in the Euro scene. Not to say they are great wheels, but just not my cup of tea for the S2k. But if you want to go for the bling, which I have read that you do, go for it! It's really up to you and your individual tastes. I totally agree that iForged and HRE are two totally different companies/product quality. I have a handful of Benz friends that have ordered from iForged, and the wait for the wheels to be made is excruciatingly long, and the product often came with imperfections/wrong offsets.

I personally love BBS and OZ for their racing heritage-inspired wheels that are simple, useful, and look good. I went with BBS for my Benz, and I just wish that I could afford them LM's for my S2k

But I'm very happy w/ my SSR's -

BBS and OZ are at the top of the game here. Afterall just ask yourself, what do all the Formula 1 Teams race on? BBS and OZ.

I agree BBS are awesome wheels and im also considering the LM's. Anything 3pc. If BBS are good enough for a formula one car at over 220MPH, then they are good enough for me on the street Only thing is, they gotta be a pain in the butt to keep clean and must take forever to clean ! But i am considering them. I do like the racey look they give the S2K 3pc looks awesome on a sports-car

I've got a set of HRE445s, 18's, 8" front, 10" rear, painted centers. Weight for the front (including tires, Pirelli P-Zero) was two pounds heavier than stock and rears were about 8. Offsets for the front were perfect, but I could have used about 7mm more at the rear. I was assured by the folks at HRE that lowering the car 1 inch wouldn't cause any rubbing, but any lower and the fenders would need to be rolled. The only trouble I have with the paint is when I've removed/tightened the lugs. My wrench "scuffed" away some of the paint near the lug holes. Some touch up paint "covered" the blemish. I got a terrific deal for the set at $3200, with the tires mounted and balanced. Good customer support and beautiful product. I would purchase again.

$3200 for HRE's with tires thats very cheap, especially when you got painted centers (which is a option, more $) Im assuming these were a used set of wheels/tires

by the way guys, Im considering BBS-LM's also However, i posted a thread in the "Tires/wheels" forum about this. Seems that the BBS website no longer lists the LM's. However, tire-rack has them available and in stock. So does this mean that the BBS-LM's are discontinued anyone know Calling all BBS-LM owners ! ! ! id like to know, as i dont want to buy someone leftover stock of wheels. What if i damage one and need a replacement, then it would be a PITA
