"Covertible" selection usually keeps me satisfied but i routinely switch between Feet and Face/Feet.

For heat, crank it 3/4 or 3/5 max and turn the fan up high at the feet, channels air up to your upper body and out the top.

Tried that setting this morning, not nearly enough hot air comes for the vents close to my hands so I just use the upper vent setting and switch between that and the combination upper and lower vent setting if my feet get cold.

No matter which setting I choose, my left leg never gets enough heat when the top is down in the cold

On a somewhat related note, I am curious as to what advantages are provided by the little back window/spoiler between the seats. I haven't played with it much, but didn't really noticed much difference between it being up or down.

Anyone feel differently?

It's supposed to be a wind deflector. But you're right, it doesn't really make much of a difference whether it's up or down. I just keep it up because it looks cool. However Rick's makes a larger wind deflector that is as tall as the roll bars and apparently does a much better job. Link

If it's cold out and I have the top down I want the air vents blowing on my hands. This setting does not do that.

If it's hot out I want my torso to stay cool, as my back will sweat against the seat. This setting does not do that either.

I've typically found that if it is too hot inside the car with the top down, driving faster helps. If it is too cold inside the car with the top down, driving faster sure doesn't help, but it takes my mind off the temperature. The PKF stated that there's a radio in the S2000? I guess I've never heard one over the music created by the engine.

^^ i dont know i think the wind deflector works pretty good...you can feel how much more wind is let into the cabin when it is in the down position compared to upright position...also the top down HVAC selection is the only one i have ever used, other than defrost every once and a while...even with the top up its the only selection i use, i think it works great!

I read that thing is ugly once installed. I'm a big fan of my experience wih Rick's though.

I've done some long drives top-down in sub-40 degree weather. I alternate between the top-down setting to warm my lap and torso, and the foot/vent setting to keep my fingers warm.

I find the wind deflector makes a big difference when you're on the highway. put a girl in the passenger seat with long hair and try both scenarios out on the highway

as for the top down HVAC... didnt even notice that.. but will try it momentarily lol
