i am buying a s2000 in a week or so please help!
ok, so with hondas lease offer they have for the 2005 s2000 i was drawn into the dealer to test drive one, i test drove a berilleta black? and it was awsome, steering response was amazing, the transmission, god how i didnt miss the 2nd gear crunch from my rsx type-s lol well you guys know how it drives.
my families salesman gave me this "deal"
299 a month plus tax and such for 36 months
2500 dollars down. this includes first months payment, title, and so on
i then asked him what if i didnt put anything down, and he said it owuld be 450 a month!!
what do you guys think of this? the honda special asks for 3600 total drive off and the same monthly payment, do you think i could get a better deal?
thanks!

that's a great deal. I'm also looking to get an s2000 to replace my rsx (within 6 months or so) and I was quoted at $499 (canadian) with a 5000 down deposit. Personally, I think I have decided to finance because although I will be paying more monthly, I will have no buy back at the end and the car would be mine. It really hurt spending 8000 buyback on my rsx when I want to get rid of it already.
Let me know how it goes!

My local dealer is advertising a 36 month lease of $359/mo. + tax with $1795 due @ delivery, $14,719 total ($359 X 36 = $12,924 + $1795= $14,719)
Your dealer's lease is better: $299 X 36 = $10,764 + $2500 = $13,264
Your dealer's lease is better: $299 X 36 = $10,764 + $2500 = $13,264
$2000 should equate to about $60 a month.
So, it would be about $360 a month with $500 down for the first payment and title work.
That's a good deal. The salesman adding $150 just shows he has no understanding of finance issues.

he claimed he couldnt give me the better lease rate since i wouldnt be putting anything down, i am going back this weekend to see what happenes. and also, they only had white, black, silverstone and one suzuka, but the suzuka was there showroom car and had wear on the driver seat, and thats the one i wanted, but i dont want a car that has been molested by 16 year olds buying civics...
