socal28: i finally got mine at Thousand Oaks for $36k with minor options.

 

Hope this message gets to you in time -- 600 miles, not 50!!! Vary the rpm's, no more than 5500 rpm, no more than 1/2 throttle. It'll be torture but you'll be glad you followed the rules... When you get to 600, IMO don't go straight to VTEC, just stretch her legs for a few miles, increasing the rpms, gradually getting more and more aggressive with the throttle... etc. Good luck!!

Congratulations. I also moved from a 200SX SE-R into the S2000 and I haven't looked back. Don't get me wrong -- I loved the Nissan, but WOW what a difference. I just hope you have as much fun as I'm having...
