. I was never a "car guy" growing up, and I never understood why people would spend so much money on cars. Then my boss took me for a ride in his Ferrari 
. He suggested the S2000 because of my more limited means 
, I rented one for a day, and I was hooked.
PMB, I'm getting the car through Honda of Joliet. They've treated me very well so far.
While waiting, I lurked here and day dreamed
and drove my '92 Corolla with 150k baby!

I lurked around for a year or so and then I finally bought one in May 02'! I originally posted about the great prices I found here in Chicago and feel great when a CA buyer gets a deal from here. It's so worth it and the money you save can go towards other nice things.
Some things to do:
1. order some Zaino
2. GO MEET UP WITH SOME OWNERS IN SOCAL!
3. Pat yourself on the back! You bought one of the best roadsters available today!

welcome chexmix! Congrats on the purchase and hope to see you around OC. I live in Mission Viejo... you will find a SoCal owners forum under Clubs or click on this link: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/forumdisplay.ph...p?s=&forumid=16
Also you have to check out www.s2ksocal.com. It is a local club for SoCal... post on there if you are interested in going on a local cruise... either PCH or something. Go easy until you are completely comfortable... it was a learning curve for me going from FWD to rear!
Also make sure your dealer goes thru the PDI checklist THOROUGHLY... I would hate to see you ride around on spring spacers for 1200miles like some of us did! = - (

I understand how it feels to now be waiting, as I'm doing the same thing, except I place my order on Friday. At least yours is in, and ready to ship... I gotta wait 3-4 months
