Today I try to take out the side mirrors to put in the ITG convex mirror.

I watched the Video and it seems to easy.

BUT NOT FOR ME.

Maybe my the 2007 that why. I don't know.
Anyway take out was easy as the video.

But once boil and try to take out the mirror from the panel it SUPER EXTREMELY HARD.

My driver side panel is bigger than the passenger, so it easier to take out and fit perfectly with the ITG mirror.

But the passenger however is thin panel. Taking it out.... welll.. I broke the mirror and end up throwing the stock mirror into the trash.

Then I go ahead and try to put in the ITG mirror... it doesn't fit, one of the edges is too long and big for the corner and I try to squeeze. squeezeee. BOOM it broke on the little corner.

So I end up with the corner of the pasenger broken. So I need a new one, so if any of you that have the passenger side that doesn't need then sell it to me please..


Ok.. so someone sell me their passenger side. aargggggggge!


PS: lesson to be learn.. Buy the one with the panel so you can replace the whole thing.. Little more money but it O.. I bought mine and then few days later they have the panel.. I guess it was too late for me.

 

anyone having hard time on their 07 as I do?

 

If it makes you feel any better yesterday i was changing a turn signal bulb & it fell off inside the headlight assembly. Then, after I finally fished it out, it slipped from my fingers and shattered on the floor.

 

Would you happen to have a link to the video? I've purchased the Spoon mirror 5 months ago and never put it in. I didn't want to just use the adhesive to glue it on the existing mirror.
