I forgot the name of the place but there's a great Mexican restaurant on the near
South-side of 16th and National (around that general area). They have margaritas
to die for, they also have a 'ride the chili' nite....where you or your date can ride a
mechanical chili pepper (kinda like a mechanical bull).
Ride a mechanical chili pepper? Now that's authentic Mexican!

The accident happened on the mooreland on-ramp. I was heading south on mooreland and took the cloverleaf to go east on I-94.

From speaking with the mechanics, they said it looked mostly cosmetic. They were worried until they got under hood. They told me there was no damage to the engine or the frame.

AllState, my insurance company, seems to be pretty cool. I'll have to pay my $500 deductable, but that should be my only expense. They haven't told me if my insurance will go up at all, yet. I don't have any tickets and this was my first accident ever. The worst that could happen is my insurance will go up $400 per year. Not to bad considering...

Glad you're ok. I agree it looks substantially cosmetic. She'll be back good as new.

Having just been in a wreck in mine last week, I can feel your pain.

I was bummed because I haven't even had my first oil change yet when mine got wrecked but it sounds like you've got me beat for lower mileage Glad you're ok, though!

Sad to see, but at least you're OK and the car is fixable, could have been a lot worse.

Yea, from the pics, it looks mostly cosmetic. But glad you walked away. I swear the S2000 is one tough car. I know of lots of accidents that are FAR worse than this and the drivers walk away...it's amazing.

Since you are somewhat near Chicago, you really should have the car repaired by Body Werks in Skokie. They fixed one res S2000 that had about 23,000 dollars in damage...check them out at http://www.bodywerks.com and tell them that Greg sent you. Ask for Larry...

Good luck!
