Default I Did It!!!!!!

Ok guys,
after being a lurker on this board for a while I have decided to take the plunge and get the S2000.
I was going to wait for the 2004 model but after seeing a few pictures of it I decided on getting one
of the last 2003 models. Not that the 2004 is bad, but I fell in love with the earlier model design and
that is what I wanted. This car is AWSOME!!! The women love it too!!!!!

I found my baby in Atlanta so I drove up there and got her. She is Silverstone/black.. A funny thing is that it had not rained here in about a month, but guess what happens when I get my baby. It rains!! I have washed her twice and waxed once. When does the paranoia stage end? I went to the mall and could not stay more than five minutes because I was worried that someone was going to hurt her.. I also cringe when I hear sand in the fenderwell as I am driving..
Do I need therapy????????

Thanks for welcoming me and I am looking forward to posting with the everyone else!!

Tomblina, Nice color choice I also hate the sound of rocks or sand kicking up in the wheel wells! Anyway, enjoy your new ride.

When does the paranoia stage end?

The paranoia never ends...it will go on as long as you own this car....welcome to S2000 ownership.

Congrats on the purchase, and drive safe!

I'm laughing right there with you. Here in Texas, it hadn't rained in forever, and then, 2 days after I buy my car, it rains for a few days straight. Same thing - washed her like 3 times in 3 days.... Speaking of which, I'm due to go clean now....

Congrats! You'll be grinning every time you drive her!!

I did not have to do too much haggling. I got her for $29,000. The sticker showed 33,000 with an added markup. I am going to need the money that I saved to start bying for my baby
(tinted windows, zaino, cover, after market mats, etc...)... Geez, I need a new credit card!!
