I got my MY04 on May 13th, 2004 and absolutely love it....today I hit 615 miles on the odo and VTEC'D the first three gears for the first time......and wow censor me if you want but I F***ING LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!!


How was your first VTEC?

come on there must be more people who love to share their first VTEC input...

 

Yes! I do remember!..I laffed out loud.. very much fun

 

When I first V-Tec, it scared me! And made me do this !! I loved it, BTW!

 

Wonderful sensation the first time and every time since. The busy, hyper sound of the engine spinning up, the engine and exhaust note, the harmonics transmitted to the driver all combine to reinforce my knowledge that I bought the right car for me.

 

My first VTEC was a '93 Prelude. It's still going strong.

 

I don't remember the first time I tapped VTEC in the S, but I do remember taking one of my friends out the first night after I picked up my car.

I wish I could have seen the look on his face as the engine climbed towards 9000RPM but hearing "Holy S---!" was satisfying enough.

 

coming from a fd3s the vtec crossover was a lot different from the turbo boost.

but i still remember both

 

what really impresses me is the solid chassis and the slick gearbox
