Default I envy you ALL

Hi all.. I'm new to these forums. I came across them a few days ago and I am addicted. I spend hours reading all the threads. I envy all of you who own an S2000. I just graduated college and got a pretty good job as a software engineer. The only problem is with rent/costs of living/girlfriend/etc.. I won't be able to save up the $35,000+ needed to buy an S2000 for a couple years. So.... until then, I am living vicariously through all of you I seriously get excited whenever I read threads that are like "I just drove my new s2000 home today!!" Gah, the thrill you must feel.. owning an S2000. I live in Santa Barbara, California.. am 23 years old. Is this not a better time or place for me to get an S2000??!!?!!? Anyways... keep up the posting of your pics, stories, mods, etc. I love it all!!!

Oh yeah, there was a purpose to this post... How much did all of you new '04 owners pay for your s2k (Out the door, tax and all)? I have my heart set on a Silverstone w/ red/black interior... if they still have that color combo available in a couple years.

Have fun all. Drive safe.

Keep faith, if you desire to own one, where there is a will there is a way. It's worth the wait. Until then, welcome to the board and good luck on your ownership goals.

Yeah, you can get one for really good price now a days. I paid a grip for mine about 2 years ago, kinda sucks, but o well.

timing is everything. I feel your pain. I didn't buy my first car after graduating from college for a year. I was saving up to pay off my school loan. Now after 3 years of working I am able to save up enough money for 2 cars, one of the the s2000, of course and a new house. It's totally worth the wait. Don't worry, you'll get yours eventually.
