Why do I do this to myself?
If it bothers you this much, you need to have a long talk with your spouse. You both deserve to be happy in your relationship and day to day lives. Talk to her, make a decision, and stick with it (and don't look back). And you better do it quick. The buyer deserves proper respect and honesty from you. If you aren't going through with the deal, he/she deserves to be told as soon as possible and with complete candor (and humility). He or she will no doubt have the same love for the car that you do and is already dreaming about his/her future with the car.

It is unfair to back out of the deal once occured. It happened to me so I don't want to do this to anyone. If the buyer changes their mind then it is meant for me to keep it

Or the buyer might be thinking, "Well, it's unfair to back out now that I've already agreed to buy it. And he might not refund my deposit. But if the seller changes his mind, then it wasn't meant to be." ;-)

You owe it to yourself to know for sure and be certain why you are doing what you are doing. Why let life happen all around you? You might decide that you definitely DO want to go through with it, but don't do it for some namby-pamby "well I already said I would and now I kind of have to but I'm not sure I really want to and..." reason.

There are many things in life over which we have no control. In the few instances where you do, why not actually use it?

To borrow a VW commercial:
On the road of life, there are passengers and there are drivers.
Drivers wanted.

sonnghiem, I know the particular car you have and let me just say you will have a hard time finding another in as good a shape as the one you own. So keep it, there settled.

You will never find another low mile CR as clean as yours.
