Default I hate mice

Last winter, mice built a nest in my airbox, and chewed throught the factory filter. It was ok, bc it gave me an excuse to buy the Comptech filter. But this winter they did it again , and I have decided to tke on the entire mouse population of the world! Who is with me?!

Ehm, I'm going to keep this one around in this forum because it's late and you made me laugh. It's on-topic.... eh...barely.

Same thing happened to me..... with my snowmobile.

If you have a car in storage, wrap the air box. Some screening, or a loose-fit heavy plastic or whatever.

Having mice around any stored vehicle is a bad, bad thing. You're lucky it was only the air filter they chewed. They love the chew through wiring too.

Seriously, if you have a garage you need to get a cat.

Glad I don't have that problem. I far as I know my garage is mouse proof. I never find droppings or debris anywhere. <Knocks on wood>

I know I'm be nitpicky here but wouldn't a cat possibly walk all over your car and a ferret could chew on your tires?

Give the ferrett and towel and a paper bag and he'll never chew anything else. I had one in college and those were his favorite toys.

Cheap OEM car cover will take care of the cat walking all over the car. Cheaper than buying a new intake every year or finding out your gas lines have been chewed through in the middle of a highway. Just honk the horn to make sure the cat isn't sleeping in the engine bay before you start the engine and you're good to go.

But then he'd have cat footprints all over his car, and we'd have to dig up the "$#*&# CATS!! Antifreeze" thread all over again. And we all remember how much fun THAT was!
