In the beginning, I was gonna get a daily beater too but I changed my mind. Like lvs2k said, you bought it to drive it so eversince S2K is my fancy daily "beater" with 18K miles after 18 months.

It is not your fault. The S2000 defies the laws of physics. Point A to point B is never the shortest distance. The car simply will not travel that route. Rest easy we all suffer (enjoy) the same problem.

Just drive dude. You know you want it. If you don't get it it will drive you crazy. Park the Camry. Stay away from the light.

Before I got the S2000, I was thinking about getting a used car or a used motorcycle. I had a '98 Accord and my work commute is changing from 24mi/day to over 50mi/day in a few weeks. What did I do? Traded in my Accord for the S2000.

I don't care about mileage, so I drive it whenever. Don't need to stop driving it. After all, you paid good money to drive that car.

one month, 1100 miles. It's intended to be only a weekend car. I think we need to start a charter of S2000 Anonymous. Wait, isn't this it?

I have an employer-supplied F250 to drive as I please, fuel included. When I drive the S2000 I pay for the gas. I have not driven the F250 in about a month now and I find myself taking the S to meetings and other work-related errands. I add up my gas reciepts then tell myself I'm going to park the car and drive it only on weekends, then Monday comes and I take the car anyway.
Somebody help me!

Unless the car is a McLaren F1, it's not an investment. If you bought the S2000 you love driving, so drive. It doesnt matter what car it is, it will eventually get old. And you will eventually get a newer car. JUST HAVE FUN
