Default I hit a snag---need help!

I'm installing S2000 engine to my Lotus Super 7. The S2000 is a tall engine and I only have small clearance between the ground and the oil pan (4 1/2"). I can go for DRY SUMP but they are too expensive and too many moving parts and leaks that I have to deal with.

MOROSO sells a low profile oil pan for Hondas but not for S2000 http://www.kingmotorsports.com/category.aspx?cat=72.

Moroso is asking that perhaps the Honda s2000 has the same block and pan
as the PRELUDE VTEC ?????????? , perhaps might fit in the S2000 ????
They don't know.

Anyone here can give me some feedback if any of the Honda Series has the same oil pan for the F20C (s2000).
Anyone here know of any information where to buy the same low profile oil pan made by other manufacturer other than Moroso?
Any advice to this problem?

I appreciate any help..........thanks a million

I can tell you that the Honda part numbers are different. Although I doubt it would fit, the bolt pattern and spacing could possibly be the same.

I meant the pan has a different part number above . The block on the Prelude is an H22, so it is even less likely the pattern will match.

How about low profile valve cover for Honda S2000 ? Is this possible?
In this case, I can bring the engine a little higher.

Uh, what does that mean.

That sounds like a good possibility, though I am unaware if anyone makes a low profile valve cover as this engine isn't as common for swaps into other cars (especially with more confined spaces).

I believe the other 7 I saw with an s2000 motor had a dry sump system, but like you said, it's expensive and not an option for you.
