Unhappy I hope this kid okay

September 3rd around 12:00 in the morning Mr. J driving the comptech supercharged silver s2000 lost control on diamond bar blvd
and hit the curb, fire hydrant and light pole. Car was totaled and
Mr. J was airlifted to USC medical center, his passenger was sent to
Brea hospital. The passenger is fine with minor injuries, Jimmy now
is hospitalized with internal bleeing which doctors are currently
unable to location the area and his heart is beating irregularly.

I hope this isn't real because I got this as an email but makes me wonder why sometimes kids get a superchager on there car. But I hope everything turn out the best for this kid. He was probably 18 or maybe 19.

What does it have to do with kids? Inexperience and underdeveloped judgment leads to the kind of accidents described here. That's why males under 25 pay such horrendous insurance rates. And, by the way, we all pay much higher rates as the insurance companies spread the risk. Sure, there is no law that says a kid can't have a supercharger. But, I think that higher horsepower requires much increased judgment, skill and experience.
