Default I just joined up!

Yesterday I had an epiphony. You know, one of those things where the heavens open, light streams in, angels sing. I realized I use this site all the time. I get great information, opportunities to buy stuff at great prices, meet great people, complain when the site isn't working right...wait a minute...whose paying for all this? So today I'm proud to say I am now a new MEMBER of S2KI.

But it wasn't easy! I couldn't find a membership heading. When I clicked members on the start button menu nothing happened. When I did a search I found a couple of threads talking about membership. Under the Site Info forum I found a question about the different levels of membership. Aimlessly, I went into the Marketplace, then the S2KI store, and then, finally, I found out how to become a member. And I joined. And you can too. Think about it for $50.00 or less, depending on the membership level you choose, you get information, bargains, questions answered, freindship, heck, I've spent a hell of a lot more on a date and got a lot less.

I'm guessing more people would join if they knew how, so maybe the site administrators will put a link up somewhere that everyone can find. Maybe there is one and I just missed it.

BTW, No one asked me to do this. This is just how I feel about this great site and all who participate.

Happy Motoring

Bill

What a great site! I did the same a couple of months ago. Now I'm ready to advance to "gold" status.

I had some problems signing up on line too since I had my cookie security set too high. The cookie security prevented my credit card from going through. Eric was patient and I got it worked out.

For those who don't know it, check out rsxworld, another great cthree project.

I think joining is a 'No Brainer'. For the $50 Gold Member subscription, the unlimited photo storage, and ability to link pics from your Photo Album to other sites, is fantastic value in itself. You'd pay far more than that on a dedicated photo hosting site.

The other side of the coin:

I paid for Gold Membership 3 weeks ago and have still not received it! I have emailed over and over and even posted a thread and other people keep writing in saying they have become members since me with no problem!

I can't post photos either, and have asked for assistance, and still no luck!

I paid the $50 on 12/25 and still waiting...

That really sucks caputo!! Did you PM or email cthree to see what is going on? At the very least they should give you a discount or something for all this time you have waited...

Caputo,
I don't know what's taking so long to process your membership. It's been brought up in the moderators forum repeatedly. I've just brought it up again and asked someone to look into it. Hopefully we can get you taken care of. Sorry it's taking so long.

Caputo,

I paid mine by credit card and my status changed instantly after the transaction. If you paid by credit card it should have happened instantly. As for photo storage etc, I assume I will get something that explains that.

Thank you for the help.

I have emailed everyone. I have asked for a refund of my money, for I do not want it in limbo somewhere.

I paid with Paypal and my money was immediately removed from my account.
