I like it high !
After looking at many posts with cars that are lowered ....Can I be the only guy who thinks the ride height is fine the way it is ??Is the expence of new springs and dampers worth the risk of bottoming out and killing the ride !On my last car I had to mod the entire suspension only to gain little to no improvement except for maybe looks.I think honda did a good job with the 03's in sorting out the suspension bugs .My real question is ON THE S2000 ...will these mods gain a real noticable improvement and if so are there any companys that make a kit that will come close to the factory ride and still make an improvement.
I agree the ride height is perfect in stock form. It's still pretty dang low compared to most cars, and I don't think I could handle worrying about scraping it any more than I already do.
It makes me wonder how low a car has to be before owners will consider not lowering it any more. It seems to me the returns diminish when the car is already so low. A Subaru I can understand, but on an S2000, where lowering it would only produce maybe a 1" difference, I would think it's not worth the expense or inconvenience.

I've driven lowered S2000s, and I liked the way the stock suspension worked more than the aftermarket stuff did. If I ever were to upgrade the suspension, I would install a coilover system so that I can retain the stock ride height.

I think the stock height is fine. However, if I could lower it without scraping everywhere (I already scrape stock, my damn driveway is a bad angle)... then I'd lower it in a second.
Hell, I'm scared to do a front lip.
