Hi guys

Somewhere in the forum I read few ppl complain about
our s2000 digital dashboard.

I love my digital dashboard. I don't know why some of us
would hate it!!!
My only complain is its inaccurate fule gauge
One time I had 3 bars left and the empty fuel light came on!

Oh but this is true for many other cars as well.
I had a chance to rent a Toyota Celica while back
It also had digital fuel gauge, and it was very inaccuarte. somewhat worse than our s2000.
I drove about 100miles and the fuel gauge didn't change
on that Celica!!!

The fuel gauge is non-linear. When the fuel warning light first comes on constantly, you have about 2.6 US Gallons left. That is what I use to determine when to get gas - based on the fact that I have about 50-55 miles conservatively of range left when the gas light first comes on.

When I drive cars with analogue gauges, I find myself struggling to see what speed I am going.
The digital dash is so much easier.

It was the one thing I never liked about the car.....

until I drove one. The dash is great!! I love how it doesn't wash out in sunlight, and is not overly bright at night. The tach is very nice!! I no longer have any complaints about the digital dash.

Me too on liking the dash.

Best thing?! and I can't believe I've been able to say this for an entire week of ownership in the middle of November in Richmond, VA...driving at night with the top down and revvvvvving the tach out at a light... Ya just gotta know that the dash is catching the attention of those SUVs sitting next to me thinking they did good getting a safe vehicle...

Second best thing? I don't know, call me juvenile, but setting my cruise control on 69 mph. Just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...

My car has a very accurate fuel guage also has a Digital reader that says how many miles I can go before I'm out of fuel. THIS is also very accurate, trust me on this one, I know how it's so accurate, hehe.

BTW, running out of fuel sucks, luckily I was right by a gas station.
