Default I love my S2000...

Just thought I'd say that!

This car has totally changed my life (no kidding), it is my life. 2.5 years and I still take an extra few moments to stare at it

It's back at the dealer getting some rear end work done. It been there 2 weeks now with the exception of the 5 days I was at Thunderhill (they gave it back to me so I could go). I miss it but when she comes back she will be smooth as glass

I hope they wash it, it was a mess after my 1600 mile trip!

I love this car! Buying it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I had no idea when I bought it, I thought I was just buying a car, not a lifestyle. No complaints!

Late Friday evening I returned from a week long business trip. The first of any duration since I got my S2000 back in late April.

First thing Saturday morning, I had the top down and was breezing around town with no specific destination other than fulfilling my desire to drive it.

I just needed a fix.

Hey C3!

I my S2K too! I've only owned the car for 2 1/2 months but it's been nothing but pure driving pleasure! I've been obsessed with the car for over 2 years and now it's mine!

Only owners can understand the joy! BTW...everytime I park the car and have to leave it. I still have to turn around and stare at it. Incredible!

Yup, C-3. Changed my life as well. I call it my quarter-life crisis without the crisis.

There's one major area the S2000 has brought back for me: my love of cars. I grew up in the 60's in a neighborhood of hot rods and muscle cars. My friends' dad's all had them and we used to hang out and watch them tune them and care for them. Sports cars, too. We used to go the "hard tops" races each Saturday night. It was boys night out.

As I got older, I became distracted with other stuff. After all these years, the S2000 has brought back my love of automobiles. I am becoming again a student of sports cars. I'm buying auto mags. One of my friends is a gearhead for a local racing team and I got a chance to hang with him at Sears Point. It's exciting again. This board has also been a tremendous help. First thing I do each morning is scan the topics while eating breakfast.

Who needs Viagra? The S2000 has brought me back to my life!

Erik, you could'nt have said it any better. I remember back when I wanted (alright, lusted) an S2000.

I had a 2 hour daily commute and would stop at LeJeune Honda in Jacksonville (about mid way) and just sit in front of the dealer in my Accord Coupe watching the Berlina Black S2000 with it's lucious red interior sitting inside. I would often stand near the window and stare for minutes. It was ever so relaxing!

Then, one day. . .I owned that car! It was like a dream! It still is! I miss my old baby. But you are right, never did I think about a club or an online affiliation. Never, ever did I think I would meet some of the BEST people ever. Better friends than the folks from high school or college! Folks that would do just about anything! It really is a wonderful thing and I thank you Erik! I thank you for allowing the opportunity to share this beautiful thing we all have, this community!

After owning this car for nearly 3 years, I still love getting behind the wheel of it.

cthree, you should be commended for making such a great site to let all of us gather. I've met some great people from this board.

- I feel the same as everyone else who has posted. I can't even remember what my life was like without this board or the car.

I had mine since 4/14/01. 12000 miles later, I still love it. Last sunday, I drove on PCH from Santa Monica to Ventura and back. I saw at least 20 boxsters, but only 2 s2ks...
