Default I Need Advice!!!! (Vandalism problems)

I have had my car for 2 1/2 months and I love every minute I'm driving it Unfortunately, Leaving my car is another story. Let me give the history.

I live in South San Francisco in an apartment. I have a carport but the port is in the dark with very little visibility(where the wheels got stolen) So now i park on the street under a lamp post in a high traffic area across from my apartment(lots of cops and well lit).

2-3 days after taking delivery- Wheels and honda badges were stolen. Car was left on the ground for about a week so basically drove my car twice, and then was without it for 1 1/2 weeks

about 1 month after- car got egged

2 nights ago- top was slashed from driver's side to passenger's side right above the rear window. the slashes gouged the passenger roll bar. passenger door handle yanked out, leaving big hole and a few dents! nothing stolen!

I don't know what to do

My neighborhood isn't really that bad, cuz this kinda stuff doesn't happen alot around here.(except to me) I'm pretty sure that most of this was done by the same people, but I have know Idea who or WHY??? I'm a pretty nice guy and don't have any enemies I know of!?!?!?
My best guess is jealousy but who knows!?!?!?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
G

with that kind of frequency - a tazer alarm would be necessary or at least some computer video related surveilance.

Unfortunately, active defense alarms are illegal in Cali. (and I can't find one out here, would appreciate any info on how to get one)
I'm looking into the surveillance cams, but that's going to be pricey!

Hide out in a tree and wait for the purpotrator to visit your car, then take a .44 magnum and do some vandalism of your own Be careful not to hit your car though.

My high school best friend moved to your area in the '60s. He now owns about fifty cars and trucks, none of them newer than about 1955. His daily driver is a junker 1937 Plymouth that is literally held together with bailing wire and duct tape and is "hand painted" in a cloud pattern. He mostly does his own repairs and advised me to always restore brakes before anything else.

Now I understand why he owns all junkers.

I agree with lucid. Move.

Buy a pit bull, tie to car at night. Don't feed him that much.

If it were me I'd stake out the car in the dark and put a couple .40 hydrashocks in the punks. Luckily my car is within shooting range of my bedroom window.

OUCH!! That hurts to read this.... I'm sorry, it must suck and your heart must break everytime you see your baby hurting like that. First thing i'd suggest.. WHEEL LOCKS.. will prevent your tires from getting stolen., An alarm... especially an ANNOYING one.. you know the one's that have like 5 different sounds?? Next Keep the car in a well lit area and viewing distance.. I like what someone else posted.. try to rent a garage... and of course probably the other best Idea... MOVE. Jealousy is a Biatch... and it happens (Happen to me, but with my other car) Don't know why it happens.. but be sure it'll hit them 2x's harder when it comes around.
