Thumbs up I need Help!

lately i've been hearing this tapping sound coming from the rear of my 2005 s2k.
has anyone had the same problem? i bought the car in dec. and it's only 7 months old... so i'm thinking to myself how can the car get ed up so quickly? On monday i plan on taking it to the dealer and having them take a look at it. Can anyone please give me their opinion on what the problem might be?

Can you isolate the general location of the sound and give a little more detail about the sound. Does it seem to be beneath the car (behind the driver or passenger), from the trunk area, from the area of the soft top (is the noise the same with the top up and down) or does it change when you move the seats? Is the sound metalic or have any other characteristics that would give us a clue?

Goo Luck

Thumbs up

well the sound is coming from somewhere near the rear tires... it's the same with the top up or down, it's basically the same sound as if when the car is cooling down(when turned off)... it usually only occurs after i've run the car hard some of my friends tell me that it might be the limited slip (that its ed up) but if so then why does it only make the sound after running the car hard... this problem has been bothering me for about a month and a half ever since i took the car to get its first oil change( honestly i think the dealer might have done something for me to keep returning)... tomorrow i'm taking it to the dealer hopefully then can find and fix whatever problem it might be. thanks for help... please reply with what you might think the problem is?
