Folks, Grassroots Motorsports is putting on an Ultimate Track Car challenge. jfo's car is one of the poster cars.



While my car isn't the ultimate track car, it appears that no other S2000's have entered. Additionally, there are two main categories: shop cars and individual cars. They then break them into JV and Varsity in each group. To remain in JV, you have to have 4 cyl or less, be NA, and run on DOT approved tires. CRX's or hatches with swaps will most likely be faster, but looks and a good story behind the car are important, too.

So if you could, please take a moment to please rate my S2000, I'd appreciate it. And don't forget to lie about it being worthy of their selection! Better pics should be up later today.

I'm confused how you state that the S2000 is the first and only Asian import you have ever owned, yet you sold your NSX to help pay for the S2000 mods.

 

You are right. I owned the NSX for only 5 weeks before selling it. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Just edited it for correctness. i ended up selling it to a then employee of InlinePro in about 30 minutes.


Btw, NSX's are terrible at autocrossing. Or maybe it was the driver.

Today is the last day for submissions. So far you all have helped keep my car on the first page of GRM UTCC. Thank you. This should help the car get noticed despite its late entry. Selections will be made and owners notified at least 6 weeks before the July event.

Also, congrats to jfo on being somewhat of a poster child! The GPW at the top of this thread is his. Mine is slightly darker: Moonrock.
