konig rims on a s = ...why would you put low class wheels on such a nice car...i have nothing against konigs, they have very nice rims, but theyre not for a s2000. theyre HEAVY, offsets probably arent right, theyre HEAVY, and they weigh a lot....but thats just my opinion....sorry...i think they should stay on ricey civics and corollas

Don't him. they look good do it.

I have konig toxxin's in a 18 X 7.5. With all the caps and crome they weight 18.5 pounds on my home scale. Not bad for a 45 offset rim, that I can drop the car with, and put on factory spec width tires. Stocks run 17.5 on my scale so with the tire savings I figure its about a wash. Two the Konig rims are very well put together, I have never had a single problem with them, but I have had problems with my high end name brand stuff on several occations.

So think before you post.

If you haven't tried them don't post bad things. I have seen enough honda's with fake spoon/volk rims in my life to be biased.

stormbringer...did i say something bad about the rims...nah, in fact it says konig makes really nice rims...ive had two sets of konig rims on my cars in the past....but imo, i wouldnt go with them on a nice sports car....i would look towards oz, volk, or advan (if the money is there)

But if you like the look then cool, my opinion doesnt matter, im just throwing it out there in case it helps....

i agree, the oz wheels do look better. I would rather buy them. I would love them in 18's. what do you guys think, 18's a good idea, or bad?

There are many Konig wheels that are actually very light. The Sub Zero is one of them (outsourced by ROTA) but the offset would be a problem if you decided to lower your car. Most Konig wheels have offsets between 40-48 so a 225 tire is probably as wide as you can go. I have Velox gunmetal 18x7.5's on back (ET42) running on 225/40/18's and have had NO problems EVER with rubbing (no lowering though with no plans to) . The keys to aftermarket wheel decisions:

1. Your driving style
2. Your wallet
3. Your intentions of suspension mods
4. Your asthetic choice.

Don't listen to those who feel it is necessary to put $2K wheels on the S2000. They cost more because they are made to fit but I haven't seen one single wheel I prefer more than my own and they cost $265 each. Looks are entirely subjective and price, in this case, does not guarantee an asthetic thumbs-up. If you have the cash, go with a custom offset and find the wheels you like, thus getting the best of both worlds but I've seen many lower priced wheels that look great on the S2000.

The OZ wheel is nice, but it doesn't come in the correct offset. That wheel in 18" weighs 26.8 lbs.
