Default I replaced my soft top today.

I finally got around to doing my top today. It went pretty well, and I am vary happy with the results. I ended up getting a Robins' auto top and would have to say the quality is great. I have a 01 and went with the Glass window conversion, the frame mod was cake. Over all the only snag I had was not having enough rivots, so I had to go to ACE and get some. Other than that just a little time consuming, it took me close to 7 hours. Not bad for a first timer. (IMO) I still have a few interior parts to put back in, but it should not take me more than an hour to do so.

Also if anyone is interested I have the old plastic window. It is in good shape, maybe a 8.5 out of 10. If you are interested take a look at this link to my other post in the fore sale section. Link to for sale post
If anyone has any Q's let me know.

I noticed from the pictures that the bottom piece below the glass is longer than on the OEM top, and that there is no black plastic surrounding the glass. Does the top only look like this for the 00-01 glass conversion or is it the same also for 02+?

Thanks for the comments.

I am not too sure how much I saved. I know I easly saved a few hundred. I am so stoked that it was not too hard to do because I did not want to pay some one 800 buck for labor. I think the OEM top is about 1k new from Honda.

As far as a leak test, I have yet to do it. I think I will do it tomorrow. If it rains tonight I guess I will know.

For the plastic on the back glass, I am not too sure. Are you talking Vertically or Horizontally? I will have to go to the dealership and look.
